Foster Carers Wanted!
Have you ever thought about helping the RSPCA by fostering animals?
The RSPCA Sydney Shelter is currently looking for dedicated Foster Carers. We have many types of animals that require fostering including kittens & puppies, mother animals with litters, animals that require cage rest after surgery and animals that require socialisation and rehabilitation if they have behavioural issues.
In order to become a foster carer you need to attend an Information/Induction session, have a Premise Inspection and become a member of the RSPCA. No formal training or qualifications are required, generally time, patience and TLC are all our animals require. Becoming a Foster Carer requires ongoing commitment as we are always in need of people like yourself who would like to help.
We often hold induction every 4-6 weeks depending on demand. We go through the 'ins-n-outs' of the program which should give you the opportunity to make a fully informed decision whether to continue with the application process.
If you would like any more information about becoming a foster carer check out our website by clicking here - http://www.rspcansw.org.au/get_involved/become_a_foster_carer.
Or alternatively, by emailing the Foster Care Coordinators at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For people living outside the Sydney area you can contact your local RSPCA Shelter or Branch to see how you can help them.
