RSPCA NSW Congratulates Top Vet!

The RSPCA Broken Hill Clinic and Shelter are a small but dedicated staff team who work tirelessly in one of the remotest Vet Clinics in not only the country - but perhaps the world. One of these, Sharon Murphy, completed her Certificate IV in Animal Studies through the Animal Industries Resource Centre (AIRC) in 2011. At her graduation ceremony last month she was honoured to receive the NSW Student of the Year prize, which is awarded to exemplary students who display professionalism in attitude, skills and knowledge, and who act as a role model to other students. Sharon has certainly been an asset to our team through her willingness to mentor two other nurses who are currently completing their training.

Sharon is a very worthy winner and has certainly epitomised the values that the AIRC look for in Student of the Year. Congratulations Sharon!
