RSPCA Creature Comforts Christmas Appeal

Creating a better story and a better life for animals this Christmas

With Christmas exactly five weeks away, the RSCPA is making preparations for its busiest time of the year. With thousands of additional animals expected to be cared for in NSW alone, the RSPCA is calling for support for its Christmas appeal – Creature Comforts.

Christmas is often the toughest time for animals and staff at RSPCA Shelters. The influx of additional animals combined with heat and humidity mean that animals need more attention and more ‘creature comforts.’ A donation to the RSPCA at this critical time of year helps raise funds to ensure the thousands of sick, injured and abandoned animals in its care enjoy a safe and cruelty-free Christmas.

“Every animal that comes into our care has a unique story,” said Steve Coleman, CEO RSPCA NSW. “Our job is to create a better story for all the animals in our care and ultimately a better life,” Coleman added.

This year’s campaign is fronted by ‘Franklin’ (pictured opposite) who tells his own story of finding his way into the care of the RSPCA and fortunately, his fur-ever home and loving new family. Franklin’s story isn’t unique, in fact it is all too common at RSPCA Shelters around the country.

To support one of RSPCA’s many Shelter animals over the busy Christmas season by making a donation to its annual Christmas campaign simply visit: http://www.rspcastory.com

You can also make a donation on someone else’s behalf, which makes a great Christmas gift.
