RSPCA Care Centre Tuggerah Turns Seven...in Dog Years!

The RSCPA’s Care Centre in Tuggerah this Friday celebrates its first birthday and is planning a birthday fun-day to mark the occasion with face painting, cake decorating, a colouring competition and product discounts.

The RSPCA Care Centre was opened in January 2012 and boasts highly-skilled staff, an adoption centre, grooming facility and retail outlet.  Animals available for adoption include cats, dogs, kittens, puppies, birds and pocket pets.

“Since its opening in January 2012, the Tuggerah Care Centre has found new homes for over 500 animals – that’s more than one animal each day that it has been open which is an awesome achievement and speaks volumes to the generosity of the local community,” said Jodie Eldridge, RSPCA Care Centre Manager, Tuggerah.

To mark the occasion the Care Centre is having a school-holiday birthday fun-day. There will be face painting, a cake decorating station where kids can purchase a cupcake and decorate it themselves and all children purchasing a cupcake will receive a half price milkshake in the café.

Additionally, all those who have adopted an animal over the last year are invited back to receive a discount on their next dog grooming and kids can enter a colouring competition to win a $50 voucher to spoil their pet in the Care Centre.
