The RSPCA NSW Shoalhaven Shelter is today celebrating its most successful year for animal adopts ever. The Shelter, located in Nowra, rehomed 550 animals during the last financial year (July 2012-June 2013) – a whopping increase of 102 animals from the previous year.

“We are greatly appreciative to the residents of the Shoalhaven for their continued generosity, both financial and for material needs such as blankets, bedding and toys,” said Sharon Johnson, RSPCA Shoalhaven Shelter Manager.

“We also couldn’t have been this successful without the continued support of local media outlets that feature our Pets of the Week and regularly cover our news and events,” Johnson added.
